Проект не имеет отношения к Twitch Interactive, Inc. и к разработчикам оригинального Chatterino и Chatterino7. Названия и логотипы Twitch, Chatterino, 7TV, BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ, DonationAlerts, DonateX и DonatePay принадлежат их владельцам — мы упоминаем их, только чтобы показать, с чем работаем. Вход. Чтобы узнать, кто вы, сервер просит подтвердить аккаунт на сайте Twitch и получает от Twitch только это подтверждение. С ним нельзя писать в чат, читать личные сообщения или управлять аккаунтом. Ключ доступа, с которым клиент работает в чате, остаётся на вашем компьютере и на наш сервер не передаётся никогда.

Чего мы не получаем: пароль от Twitch, вашу переписку в обычном чате и личных сообщениях, историю просмотров, почту, данные карты.

Настройки, история чатов и логи хранятся только на вашем компьютере. Отчёты о сбоях программы тоже остаются на компьютере и никуда не отправляются. Сервер, как любой сайт, видит IP-адрес подключения — мы используем его только для защиты сервера от злоупотреблений. Все соединения с сервером — только по защищённым каналам (HTTPS/WSS).

4. Расширение для браузера

Пока вы не нажали «Согласен» на экране согласия, расширение ничего не отправляет о вас на наш сервер. После согласия — ваш логин и номер Twitch, открытые чаты и ники авторов сообщений в них (это публичные данные чата): так расширение показывает бейджи, пейнты и отметки общих банов. Согласие можно отозвать в настройках расширения. Пароль и ключ доступа Twitch расширение не получает. Подробно, по пунктам — в политике конфиденциальности расширения.

5. Подписка PLUS и кабинет

Для подписки сервер хранит:

Чтобы вы оставались в кабинете, сайт chat.eblo.id запоминает вход в вашем браузере (файл cookie).

Зеркало. Если у подписчика 7TV, BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ или история сообщений не открываются напрямую, клиент загружает их через наш сервер. Через него идут только эти загрузки — какие каналы и смайлики вы смотрите, мы не записываем.

6. Общие баны и история в карточке

Общие баны — инструмент для модераторов. Наш сервер следит за открытыми чатами крупных каналов Twitch и записывает перманентные баны вместе с последними сообщениями человека перед баном. Так модераторы других каналов видят, кого и за что уже банили. Это публичные данные чата Twitch.

Если вы желаете, чтобы мы удалили информацию о ваших банах, напишите нам и укажите свой логин Twitch. Мы проверим информацию и решим, будем ли удалять данную информацию. Финальное слово остаётся за нами.

История сообщений в карточке берётся из открытых архивов логов чата Twitch. Если они не открываются напрямую, подписчикам PLUS они загружаются через наш сервер. Журнал модерации своего канала модераторы и стримеры получают от Twitch напрямую, своим аккаунтом, — через наш сервер он не идёт.

7. Теневой чат и «Кто печатает»

Сообщения теневого чата не попадают в Twitch — их видят только пользователи Chatterino+ на этом канале. Поэтому они идут через наш сервер: иначе не дошли бы до собеседников. Сервер держит в памяти последние 50 сообщений канала, чтобы зашедший позже увидел начало разговора.

Модераторы канала могут удалять сообщения теневого чата и банить в нём, как в обычном. Баны хранятся по номеру аккаунта Twitch. Если Twitch ограничил вас на канале, клиент сообщает об этом серверу, чтобы теневой чат соблюдал то же ограничение. Пишите в теневом чате то же, что написали бы в обычном, и проверяйте, в какой чат пишете: сообщение, ушедшее в обычный чат, видит Twitch.

Жалобы. На сообщение теневого чата можно пожаловаться — жалоба приходит нам. Мы храним, кто пожаловался, на кого, канал, текст сообщения, причину и комментарий: чтобы рассмотреть жалобу (обычно в течение суток) и при нарушении удалить сообщение или закрыть автору теневой чат. После решения жалоба хранится 90 дней, затем удаляется. Жалобы на сообщения обычного чата Twitch принимает сам Twitch — нам они не приходят.

«Кто печатает». Если вы модератор, другие модераторы канала в Chatterino+ видят, что вы набираете сообщение. Сам текст не передаётся. Выключается в настройках клиента: «Дополнения» → «Кто печатает».

8. Версия для macOS из Mac App Store

Это та же программа, что для Windows и Linux, и всё сказанное выше относится и к ней. В версии из Mac App Store нет покупок через Apple, и она не принимает оплату внутри приложения. Программа работает в песочнице macOS: настройки, вход в Twitch и история хранятся только у вас на компьютере, в папке приложения. Отчёты о сбоях в этой версии не собираются. Обновления приходят через Mac App Store.

9. Приложение для iPhone

Наш сервер получает от приложения для iPhone то же, что и от клиента для компьютера (раздел 2): ваш ник и номер Twitch, открытые каналы, ники авторов сообщений в открытом чате, ваши действия нашими кнопками модерации и теневой чат.

10. Ваш аккаунт Twitch

Расширение работает через сам сайт Twitch, как обычная вкладка, и на аккаунт не влияет.

Клиент для компьютера работает с Twitch так же, как другие чат-клиенты. Вероятность того, что Twitch из-за него временно ограничит ваш чат, близка к нулю. Если это всё же случится, ваши сообщения какое-то время не будут видны другим; обычно это проходит само за несколько часов и сам аккаунт не затрагивает. Не хотите даже такого риска — не включайте вход по коду (через него работают баллы канала, ставки и ещё несколько функций зрителя).

Решения Twitch не в нашей власти, поэтому отвечать за них мы не можем.

11. Правила пользования

Можно пользоваться предоставляемым функционалом только при помощи нашего официального расширения, клиента или API.

Нельзя:

При нарушениях мы можем ограничить доступ к функциям сервера — общим банам, теневому чату, подписке PLUS, созданию пейнтов — на время или навсегда.

12. Гарантии

Клиент и расширение бесплатны, а подписка PLUS — добровольная поддержка проекта с дополнительными функциями. Всё работает «как есть»: мы стараемся, чтобы всё работало без перебоев, но обещать этого не можем и не отвечаем за возможные убытки.

Функции, связанные с Twitch, могут на время перестать работать, если Twitch что-то поменяет у себя. Такое мы чиним как можно быстрее.

Клиент для Windows и Linux обновляется сам. Обновления подписаны, и клиент проверяет подпись перед установкой — подменить их по дороге нельзя. Версия из Mac App Store обновляется через Mac App Store, приложение для iPhone — через App Store. Расширение обновляется через Chrome Web Store и Firefox Add-ons.

Эти условия могут меняться — дата вверху показывает последнюю редакцию. Продолжая пользоваться Chatterino+, вы соглашаетесь с действующей версией.

The essentials

1. Who we are

Chatterino+ is an unofficial project based on the Chatterino chat client. It consists of:

The project has nothing to do with Twitch Interactive, Inc. or with the developers of the original Chatterino and Chatterino7. The names and logos of Twitch, Chatterino, 7TV, BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ, DonationAlerts, DonateX and DonatePay belong to their owners — we mention them only to show what we work with. These projects have not reviewed or endorsed us, so please bring questions about Chatterino+ to us.

2. What our server receives from the client

In short: your username — and what the features need to work.

Sign-in. To know who you are, the server asks you to confirm your account on the Twitch website and receives only that confirmation from Twitch. It cannot be used to chat, read your private messages or manage your account. The access key the client uses for chat stays on your computer and is never sent to our server.

What we do not receive: your Twitch password, your messages in regular chat and private messages, your viewing history, email, card details.

Settings, chat history and logs are stored only on your computer. Crash reports also stay on your computer and are never sent anywhere. Like any website, the server sees the IP address of the connection — we use it only to protect the server from abuse. All connections to the server use secure channels only (HTTPS/WSS).

4. Browser extension

Until you press "I agree" on the consent screen, the extension sends nothing about you to our server. After consent — your Twitch login and ID, the open chats and the names of message authors in them (public chat data): that is how the extension shows badges, paints and shared-ban marks. Consent can be withdrawn in the extension settings. The extension never receives your Twitch password or access key. Point by point — in the extension privacy policy.

5. PLUS subscription and the account page

For the subscription the server stores:

To keep you signed in to the account page, the chat.eblo.id website remembers your sign-in in your browser (a cookie).

Mirror. If 7TV, BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ or message history do not open directly for a subscriber, the client loads them through our server. Only those downloads go through it — we do not record which channels and emotes you view.

6. Shared bans and history in the user card

Shared bans are a tool for moderators. Our server watches the public chats of large Twitch channels and records permanent bans together with the person's last messages before the ban. This way moderators of other channels see who has already been banned and why. This is public Twitch chat data.

If you want us to delete information about your bans, write to us and include your Twitch login. We will check the information and decide whether to delete it. The final decision is ours.

Message history in the user card comes from public Twitch chat log archives. If they do not open directly, they are loaded through our server for PLUS subscribers. Moderators and streamers get their own channel's moderation log from Twitch directly, with their own account — it does not pass through our server.

7. Shadow chat and "Who is typing"

Shadow chat messages never reach Twitch — only Chatterino+ users in that channel see them. That is why they go through our server: otherwise they would not reach the other participants. The server keeps the last 50 messages of a channel in memory so that someone who joins later can see the start of the conversation.

Channel moderators can delete shadow chat messages and ban in it, just like in the regular chat. Bans are stored by Twitch account ID. If Twitch has restricted you in a channel, the client tells the server so that shadow chat applies the same restriction. Write in shadow chat only what you would write in the regular chat, and check which chat you are writing to: a message sent to the regular chat is seen by Twitch.

Reports. You can report a shadow chat message — the report comes to us. We store who reported, whom, the channel, the message text, the reason and the comment: to review the report (usually within a day) and, if the rules were broken, delete the message or close shadow chat for its author. After a decision the report is kept for 90 days and then deleted. Reports about regular Twitch chat messages are handled by Twitch itself — they do not reach us.

"Who is typing". If you are a moderator, other moderators of the channel in Chatterino+ see that you are typing a message. The text itself is not sent. It can be turned off in the client settings: "Additions" → "Who is typing".

8. The macOS version from the Mac App Store

It is the same program as for Windows and Linux, and everything above applies to it too. The Mac App Store version contains no purchases through Apple and accepts no payments inside the app. The app runs in the macOS sandbox: settings, your Twitch sign-in and history are stored only on your computer, in the app's folder. This version does not collect crash reports. Updates come through the Mac App Store.

9. The iPhone app

Our server receives from the iPhone app the same as from the desktop client (section 2): your Twitch username and ID, the channels you have open, the names of message authors in open chats, your actions with our moderation buttons, and shadow chat.

10. Your Twitch account

The extension works through the Twitch website itself, like a regular tab, and does not affect your account.

The desktop client works with Twitch the same way other chat clients do. The chance that Twitch will temporarily restrict your chat because of it is close to zero. If it does happen, your messages will not be visible to others for a while; it usually passes by itself within a few hours and does not affect the account itself. If you do not want even that risk, do not turn on sign-in with a code (channel points, predictions and a few other viewer features work through it).

Twitch's decisions are beyond our control, so we cannot be responsible for them.

11. Rules of use

You may use the provided features only through our official extension, client or API.

You may not:

In case of violations we may restrict access to server features — shared bans, shadow chat, the PLUS subscription, creating paints — temporarily or permanently.

12. Warranty

The client and the extension are free, and the PLUS subscription is voluntary support for the project with extra features. Everything is provided "as is": we do our best to keep everything working without interruptions, but we cannot promise it and are not liable for possible losses.

Twitch-related features may stop working for a while if Twitch changes something on its side. We fix such things as quickly as possible.

The Windows and Linux client updates itself. Updates are signed, and the client verifies the signature before installing — they cannot be tampered with on the way. The Mac App Store version is updated through the Mac App Store, and the iPhone app through the App Store. The extension is updated through the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons.

These terms may change — the date at the top shows the latest edition. By continuing to use Chatterino+ you agree to the current version.
